    Re: Brill English at 1.43am

One can't let emotion get in the way of facts fuk...

The majority wanted change...if you didn't want change you voted status quo....Stutus quo got under 50%...

If you voted NZ 1st...you didn't vote in the expectation the other coalition partners would miraculously fall apart and Win would slot in with the Knats...

Winston will probably get us an all weather track although taxcinda just weakened his position a little but $10 million , won't be a problem for National , books are in great shape thanks to great financial management .
Thats very minor in Winns scheme of things not so fast...

Increasingly...and this is confirmed by NZ First insiders...it appears every likelihood that Win will go with the majority...

    ..who want change...

..besides the Centre Right went from 53% of the vote last time to 47% this time...taking into account history favours the Left in special votes...

The desperate need to shift away from what Winns described as the "failed neo liberal policies of 1984" is clear...he knows NZ needs a change...

...besides he cant stand the likes of Gurbbles Joyce, English, and Bennett...who not only tried to dirty his name but fought tooth and nail to get rid of NZF in its entirety...

Me thinks revenge will be sweet...and Win has a sweet tooth now he's given up smoking...

It's easy to see how this will end.
    Winnie will merge with lab/greens.

Win hates that prick Joyce, not keen on English, and that silly cow Bennett singing natural woman, would put off anyone.

    Goodbye national.

T, you shoulda been a Mills and Boon scripter.
You romanticise like a pimply face Gramma boy, with a centrefold open under the desk.

The only person you are convincing with your sizzle is yourself.

Reality says Brill and Win are sharing the love. No doubt there will be a casualty or two, but Win's bottom line is looking like Brill's texting log, and he likes the look of that.

Besides, Taxcinda is reportedly in foal to new season sire Gay Clarkford. Angry Andy would have to come back as part time PM while she foaled down, and Win has as much passion for Angry as you have for the RIU.

I never apologise. I'm sorry, it's just the way I am.

Shouldn't believe everything you read and hear Thomas especially when it comes from Paddy Gower who is pro-labour:

Revenge claims 'barefaced lies', says Winston Peters

New Zealand First leader Winston Peters has lashed out at a media report tonight alleging he was out for "utu" against the National Party. The report on Newshub said National launched a "four-pronged attack" on Peters - and now the kingmaker was out for revenge.
Newshub political editor Patrick Gower claimed his source was a New Zealand First party insider.
However, Peters hit back quickly, saying "whatever Patrick Gower and the Newshub producers are on, they should get off it".

"Their TV news broadcasts the last two nights have been fiction, and grossly misleading. I will not be explaining what parts are fictional. Some of it is barefaced lies. "This news broadcaster is claiming sources that don't exist. It's the very worst form of journalism," he said.
"None of it will have any bearing on New Zealand First in the coming talks around the establishment of the next government."
In an opinion piece tonight, Gower said Peters was particularly resentful toward Finance Minister Steven Joyce, who he "personally detests".
National's alleged four-pronged attack started with pinching NZ First's policies including boot camps, benefit sanctions, being tough on crime and increasing the speed limit to 110km/h.
The second move was to squash the party vote for NZ First, aiming to put the party below the 5 per cent threshold, Gower said.

National was also conspiring to oust Peters from the Northland electorate, replacing him with National candidate Matt King - a plan which was successful, but ultimately did not keep Peters out of Parliament. Finally, Peters believed National was behind the pension over-payment scandal back in August.
Prime Minister Bill English has denied the leak came from his chief-of-staff Wayne Eagleson.
Investigations into the Ministry of Social Development, Inland Revenue and Ministerial Services, which manages staff in the Beehive, all failed to identify who was responsible.
National MPs Anne Tolley and Paula Bennett were both potential suspects with their portfolios covering the departments involved.
Now, Gower is claiming Peters wants utu - revenge.

How the hell can a bloke lose his seat and end up in Parliament, with a deciding vote, and at any given time bring the Government down...... All this and without a senate?....you have to be kidding. ....and we think the USA is rooted....pleeeease?

Partly true biff , he did lose his seat and had a real kick in the backside by voters , his current dominant position shows a problem with MMP , it needs to be fixed , when an agreement is reached he will have committed to a full term , political suicide if he breaks any agreement .

    Re: Brill English at 1.43am

Now , why Winston will go with National , (1) The Maori seats , Labour won't agree on referendum , (2) Pike river , no problem for National , give it to NZ F to handle , (3) Immigration , Winston's policy is floored , not realistic , a little face saving tweek and it's all good , (3) overseas land ownership , a little more difficult for all party's , as pointed out by Key , who in NZ has the money to pay for some of the bigger operations around the country , owners come and go , the asset stays here , let's see how all party's handle this one . (4) capitol gains tax , no problem for National or NZ F (5) Water charges , also no problem for National or NZ F .

Altering the reserve bank rules , a couple of small changes and every ones happy , racing , $10 million for an all weather track , easy for the Nat's , plenty of money in the kitty and will be seen as a big win for Winston .

On these basic issues Labour will not agree with NZ F and for those reasons it's Nat/NZ F, it's just a question of who get's what positions in government

A number of well credentialed commentators have strongly suggested it fuk

    Besides its human nature...

Look at it as a business proposition...Winn has the same deal offered by both parties...

Obviously he'll go with the HR he can get along with..and who haven't tried to stab him in the back...

    ...Like Gurbbles Joyce

And he'll want to leave a massive legacy as his political career winds down as well

The electorate voted for change...why can't people get their noggins around that?
